Bowman Going to Marist

Got an e-mail from Progressive Christian Coach Van Whitfield, reporting that fourth-team All-Met guard Jerimiah Bowman has committed to Marist.

Bowman averaged 19.9 points last year at Southern Maryland Christian, before moving with Whitfield to Progressive Christian. The Camp Springs school this winter will field a basketball team for the first time.

Congratulations to Jeremiah and his family.

I find Jeremiah to be a very smart and talented young man. He has come a long way and has a bright future in front of him.

After basketball, he would do a great job of running a business.
