Just got a call from DeMatha basketball coach Mike Jones, who said that senior guard Jeff Peterson has committed to play for Princeton. Peterson was scheduled to visit Penn this week but scratched that trip when he reached a decision.
Peterson averaged 3.9 assists and two steals while shooting 43 percent from three-point range last season and this season faces the challenge of taking over for All-Met point guard Nigel Munson.
Also, Osbourn Park guard Courtney Hamner has committed to play basketball at James Madison, according to her father, Pete.

Might be a big mistake by Peterson. . . . If he cares about winning, that is.
