Lots of Stuff
It's been a busy couple days, so here's some catching up:
Stone Bridge RB Devon Brown committed to play football at Wake Forest, reports Stephen A. Norris.
Colleague Jeff Ermann passes along that Friendly All-Met WR Vinnie Hill has changed his commitment from Akron to Virginia. It's not much of a surprise. Hill committed to Akron last summer, then said he was open to other schools, especially Virginia, then again said he was bound for Akron. He's the second local player in a week to switch his commitment from another school to Virginia, joining Ballou lineman Lamar Milstead.
Finally, here's an interesting read from Joseph White of the Associated Press, who attended Monday's meeting of the Knight Commission, where DeMatha football coach Bill McGregor was a guest and testified about the challenges of dealing with the Internet and text messaging when it comes to recruiting.
