Local Colleges Do Well, Says Lemming
Caught up with recruiting analyst Tom Lemming last night. He ranks Virginia (18th) and Virginia Tech (21st) in his top 25. Maryland is No. 28, which Lemming attributed to a lack of top local talent.
"It was a very weak year in the state of Maryland" for high school players, Lemming said. "D.C. has two great players. Maryland the two years before that was absolutely loaded. Maryland was in on a lot of guys, but there wasn't enough locally for them to be a top 20 team."
