DeMatha's Peterson Still Undecided

Caught up with DeMatha point guard Jeff Peterson after the Stags' WCAC championship victory last night. While Princeton is still in the mix - he verbally committed to the Tigers last fall before deciding last month to examine other options - Peterson does not expect to make a decision for at least another few weeks. He is one of the area's top undecided prospects.

Peterson said that Iowa and a handful of Atlantic-10 schools - Richmond, Xavier and St. Louis - have been recruiting him. "They all want me to come [visit] after the season," Peterson said. Several CAA schools also are interested in him, especially William & Mary.

Peterson has three official visits left to take; he took trips to Colgate and Princeton in the fall.

"I'll just wait and see what happens after the season and go from there," Peterson said, noting that he has yet to set up any more official visits. "Either way, I'm going to be in a good situation. That's the way I see it. I can still go to Princeton, which is a great school. It's not on my mind a lot."
