Largo & B-CC Big Men...

Largo 6-11 junior Maurice Sutton and B-CC 6-8 senior Maurice Pearson are going after each other pretty good in the first half of their Maryland 3A semifinal.

Sutton, excellent around the basket, has a couple putbacks. Pearson, committed to Ohio University, clearly is relishing the challenge of going against a top prospect. After driving to the basket and dunking while being fouled by one of Largo's reserves, Pearson turned toward the Largo sideline and glared at Sutton.

B-CC standout junior Austin Cooley just got his first bucket midway through the second quarter, but the 6-4 guard clearly has some talent. And Largo's prolific scorer, senior Kwame Morgan, has eight points. Midway through the second, it's tied at 22-22.
