Things Heating Up for Twyman!
Sherwood guard Deontay Twyman led the Warriors to the Maryland 4A final in football and championship in basketball. He had always said his desire was to play college football, but maybe that is about to change. He's been added to the local roster for the Capital Classic all-star game on April 5 and this week Maryland assistant Chuck Driesell has been to Sherwood, while George Mason's Chris Caputo and North Carolina State's Pete Strickland have called to inquire about Twyman. Twyman still might be bound for prep school to get one more year of seasoning, but some pretty good college basketball might now be in his future.

Good for Deontay! A good guy with great talent. Give him a chance and don't ever forget that the guy with the most heart wins.
