Twyman to Play Point Guard?
Deontay Twyman led Sherwood to its first basketball state championship in 28 years, but the All-Met quarterback remains unsure what sport he wants to pursue in college. While Twyman obviously prefers to play football, I think most observers would agree that his size - 5 feet 10 - makes basketball a better option. Twyman says he's still open to any basketball opportunities, but I think these are the ones he should be most interested in. Either way, a year at a place like Hargrave or Fork Union should be very beneficial.
A former Thomas Johnson standout spent a year at prep school and now has a scholarship to play football for Texas Christian.
