Basketball Time to Sign

Today is the start of the spring signing period for basketball players, but there isn't expected to be much news for local teams, who signed most of their recruits in the October early period. Maryland could land El Paso guard Cliff Tucker today, with guard Jai Lucas a longshot. Forward Omar Wattad said at last week's Capital Classic that he'll sign his letter-of-intent with Georgetown.
