Beasley Going to K-State

Weekends aren't premium blogging hours, but here's a must-read item. Mike Beasley will go to K-State. The Wildcats named promoted assistant Frank Martin head coach and promoted key recruiter Dalonte Hill to associate head coach, which was the key to keeping Beasley bound for the little apple.

KC Star columnist Jason Whitlock weighs in on promoting coaches for the sake of keeping recruits.

Jason Whitlock seems to tell it like it is. Operative word is "seems". Is college basketball really that corrupt? Maybe there is some validity to the fact that Gary Williams will not play that game, hence never landing a true big time recruit. Anyone else have a thought on this topic?
