Another Point Guard With Big Designs

Here's more from the kids-with-sizable-heads file. Point guard Brandon Jennings committed to USC last spring, then said he wouldn't play for the Trojans and picked Arizona. He'll be back at Oak Hill Academy this fall.

Of playing in front of Arizona Coach Lute Olson this week in Las Vegas, Jennings said:

"I think I put on a show for him."

He added:

"Lute is one of the best coaches in basketball. And he lets us point guards go."
"My goal is to go to college and not rush things. I hope to win a national championship. But when the time is right, I'll come out (to turn professional)."
"I have nothing left to prove [in high school]. Hopefully in my senior year, I'll be the No. 1 player in the country and win a national championship at Oak Hill."
