Tech Loses Another Recruit
It's been a rough stretch for Virginia Tech basketball, with second-team All-Met forward Augustus Gilchrist preferring to go the prep school route and point guard Nigel Munson considering a transfer. Now, the Hokies have lost a commitment from a rising senior, guard Shamarr Bowden.

I think it's important to note that this was a mutual parting of the ways... Bowden wasn't going to be able to beat out the recruits that Tech was bringing in... plain and simple.
