VT Winning In-State; U-Md. Picks Up Tidewater WR

Man About Roanoke Doug Doughty writes that Virginia Tech is crushing rival Virginia on recruiting in the commonwealth, with WR Dyrell Roberts of Smithfield also likely to become a Hokie. Meantime, Maryland dipped into the Tidewater area on Thursday, taking a commitment from Oscar Smith WR Kerry Boykins.

Considering Douglas played 2nd fiddle to all around super stud Greg Little last season, it makes his stats all that more impressive. A very nice sleeper RB for Fridge and company though he could stand to pack a few pounds on his 6' 177 lb frame.
