Maryland Makes Major Splash
Sorry for not chiming in over the past week while on vacation. There wasn't much in the way of recruiting news, but there was one major splash as the Maryland men's basketball team secured a verbal commitment from forward Terrence Jennings of Sacramento. I hope to have more about Jennings this week. It will be a challenge for him to qualify academically and, having already completed four years of high school, I'm not certain how the NCAA's new outlook on fifth-year high schoolers will affect him. But ... he's the kind of impact player the Terrapins sorely need and one that they have missed out on in recent years.
