Montrose Set to Add Twin Towers?
As the school year begins, Montrose Christian has a trio of transfers and there could be news soon on two tall players waiting to be admitted to the basketball power.
Coach Stu Vetter today confirmed that senior guard Kevon Moore (Spalding), junior guard Dominic Milburn (St. John's) and sophomore guard Keith Crockett (Eleanor Roosevelt) have enrolled at the Rockville school.
Vetter didn't want to comment on the potential to add two 7-footers to his team: Nigerians Emeka Okam and Temiydao Adbayo, who finished last school year at Carroll and have applied to go to Montrose this school year. But it seems possible (likely?) that both could soon be admitted, which would make the Mustangs incredibly talented.
Don't forget, Montrose already features three talented juniors in Isaiah Armwood, Tristan Spurlock and Terrell Vinson.
"They're being recruited by every school you can think of," Vetter said, adding that he didn't think any of the three was close to making a decision. "They're all being at the highest levels and have offers at the highest levels."
