Beasley Debut Is Sensational
With the college hoops season starting - and the early signing period set to begin tomorrow - let's start taking a look at how some local players are faring this season. The obvious place to start is with Mike Beasley, a one-time All-Met at Riverdale Baptist. Now at Kansas State, Beasley broke the Big 12 single-game rebounding record in his debut, tallying 32 points and 24 rebounds in a victory over Sacramento State. Also, here's a read on one-time D.C. standout and travel-team coach Dalonte Hillthe K-State top assistant who got Beasley to Manhattan.
