Beasley Impressive, Mason Even More So

Kansas State freshman Mike Beasley was impressive once again, matching his season average with 30 points last night. But, wow, was George Mason and its group of local players even more impressive as the Patriots knocked off No. 18 K-State, 87-77, last night in a tournament in Orlando. Here's the box score. Vlad Moldoveanu, better known as Chris Wright's sidekick the past few seasons at St. John's, had an efficient 11 points as all five Patriot starters scored in double figures. Mason plays Villanova tonight at 5 on ESPN2.
