Beasley Still Rolling, Mason Up Next
I don't think it's a stretch to say that Kansas State freshman Mike Beasley has had the biggest impact on the college basketball landscape this season. The one-time All-Met at Riverdale Baptist is only averaging 30 points and 20 rebounds in the Wildcats' first three games, all easy victories over lesser opponents.
But life for Beasley should get more competitive this week, starting Thursday at 8, when K-State plays George Mason in Orlando, a game that will be televised on ESPN2. A potential date with Villanova looms Friday. If anyone wants to see Beasley in a K-State uniform, do it soon, as it's difficult to see him not in the NBA next season.
