Local Back Interested in Irish

Chancellor junior fullback-linebacker Dominique Wallace enjoyed his unofficial visit to Notre Dame this past weekend. Wallace, some family and two assistant coaches made the drive to South Bend and were in attendance for Navy's 46-44, triple-overtime victory. Wallace, who is 6 feet and 230 pounds, says he already has a scholarship offer from Virginia and expects one from Penn State. Also, James Monroe linebacker Stephen Meadows has offers from Towson, Old Dominion and Norfolk State.
