Terps' Freshmen Getting In, Impact remains to Be Seen
Let's take a look at Maryland, where the Terps are relying on several freshmen. With a full lineup last night against Hampton - James Gist and Landon Milbourne were suspended for the opener against North Florida, Cliff Tucker led the five freshmen in scoring with six points in 15 minutes. It was Tucker - a late recruit from El Paso, committing in April -- who started the season opener. Adrian Bowie, an All-Met at Montrose Christian last year, had two points in 10 minutes, while Braxton Dupree, Dino Gregory and Shane Walker combined for two rebounds and no points in 10 minutes.
