D.C. Back Also Headed to the MAC
Colleague Alan Goldenbach passes along that Dunbar defensive back Jharron Armstrong has committed to play for Kent. It was Armstrong who returned an interception for the clinching touchdown of Dunbar's Turkey Bowl victory over H.D. Woodson last month.
Armstrong had three interceptions this season. He also had offers from Akron and Syracuse and is the third Dunbar senior to make a verbal commitment, joining defensive linemen Reggie Ellis (Illinois) and Ugo Uzodinma (Virginia).
