No. 1 QB More Likely to Fizzle Than Sizzle

With Terrelle Pryor seemingly headed to Michigan, the Detroit Free-Press looks at the top-rated quarterbacks the past five seasons and comes to the conclusion that recruiting rankings are for the birds. Of the group, only Georgia's Matthew Stafford has made an impact. The others: Rhett Bomar (paid $7,000 extra at Oklahoma by a car dealer, now at Sam Houston State), Kyle Wright (more INTs than TDs this season after regaining the starting job at Miami), Jimmy Clausen (7 TDs, 6 INTs as Notre Dame stunk it up this season) and Mark Sanchez (might succeed John David Booty next year?).
