Tate Back on the Court, Decision Looming
It's easy to see why college football teams are courting DeMatha WR Kenny Tate. Aside from the obvious things (size, speed, ability), Tate just plays hard and unselfishly, whatever the sport. He returned to the starting lineup for the Stags' basketball team last night and made his presence known from the opening possession when he blocked the shot of Carroll standout Kris Joseph. (To be fair, I and many others thought it was goaltending.) Tate finished with four points and eight rebounds. He has made recruiting visits to Maryland and Illinois and has Penn State and Florida coming up before he makes a decision.
