Will Those Extra Calls Can Sampson?

So Kelvin Sampson got a few boos and a few cheers and Indiana lost on bank-shot three-pointer. What happens next to the serial caller? Pat Forde says Indiana has four options, none of which seem too appealing. The Indinanapolis Star wonders what's ahead and lists the players Sampson called improperly: Purdue's Scott Martin (8.9 ppg) and Robbie Hummel (team-leading 11.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg), Demetri McCamey of Illinois (7.7 ppg) and Evan Turner of Ohio State (8.0 ppg). This columnist says it's time to fire Sampson and says that Indiana officials twice made a fan at last night's game take off a shirt that said "Bring Back Bobby." Here's another vote that Sampson is gone.

Certainly, an ugly situation all the way around. My guess is that something happens before the Hoosiers' next game Saturday against Michigan State.

By the way, have to say I very much enjoyed Sampson's book when I read it a few years back.

IU knew Sampson played dirty when they hired him. Now they should bring back Steve Alford so he can run their program into the ground too.

Sampson also improperly called a Xavier commit, Kenny Frease.
