Hotshot Running Back Under Microscope

The recruitment of hotshot running back Darrell Scott took one final twist last week when he signed with Colorado. Then one of his assistant coaches said Scott picked the Buffaloes because they made an offer that could not be refused, prompting Colorado assistant Darian Hagan to strongly deny any wrongdoing. Meantime, did Texas and USC break NCAA rules in their efforts to recruit Scott? (Read the entire story to see.) And if so, think this was the first and only time such violations occurred?
