Another Local QB Picks Another ACC School!

Not to be outdone by Sherando's Roth Metheny choosing Virginia, North Carolina has landed West Springfield quarterback Bryn Renner, colleague B.J. Koubaroulis reports. Here's a recent spotlight on Renner, who also plans to play baseball for the Tar Heels.

"He liked Carolina the best for a variety of reasons so we went down for an unofficial [visit] and it was even better than we thought," said Renner's father, Bill, who also is West Springfield's football coach. "The opportunity was good and he was the number one guy on their board for quarterback and he was the guy they wanted for that class."
