Greene Felt "Disrepected" By Maryland
If you don't read anything else today, take a look at this story about last night's Syracuse victory over Maryland in the NIT, where Donte Greene talks about feeling "disrespected" by Gary Williams. Talk about bad timing/planning. Maryland assistant Keith Booth brought Greene in for an unofficial visit at the same time that Julian Vaughn was visiting College Park, Greene says. Furthermore, Greene says, after waiting 45 minutes for Williams to finish talking with Vaughn, Williams did not have much more to say to Greene. Whether this is true or not - we don't get Williams' side of the story - it sure doesn't paint a good picture for a program that has struggled to land the region's top players.
