Another Local Junior Makes ACC Pick

This time, it's Virginia picking up a local pledge. Centreville Coach Gerry Pannoni reports that junior offensive tackle Luke Bowanko has committed to the Cavaliers. Bowanko, who is 6-6 and 270 pounds, was a second-team all-Northern Region pick last year. He also took campus visits to Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Boston College and Duke before making his decision.
