Could Turner Wind Up in College Park?
There are some wild stories floating around the local basketball circuit these days regarding how Maryland ended up with a verbal commitment from Sean Mosley and not Chris Turner last summer. Turner confirms that Mosley accepted the Terps' offer before he did, and he later ended up committing to Oregon State before changing his mind yet again. It was a tumultuous senior season for Turner, who began the year at Winchendon (Mass.) School, made a pit stop near his home in North Carolina and then finished the year at Christian Life Center Academy in Houston. Now, he's trying to pick a college and there is some thought that he could wind up in College Park. How it all shakes out ought to be interesting.

Mosley is the real deal. Skip Wise skills w/o the baggage. Turner needs stability, but all that popping around doesn't look good. He needs Gary more than Gary needs him

Turner can't contribute at College Park. The Terps need to stop taking guys who can't play at their level.
