Vasquez Staying at U-Md., Giving Terps Plenty of Guards
So Greivis Vasquez opted not to take the leap and will return to Maryland next season. While that news should bolster the Terrapins' lineup, it does leave a logjam in the backcourt, especially with the addition of junior college shooting guard Tyree Evans. If the current roster holds, that leaves Vasquez, Evans, Eric Hayes, Adrian Bowie and Cliff Tucker vying for playing time.

they gotta be playing a lot of small ball anyways. their most experienced guys are all in the backcourt.

I agree with both posts. Also, Tucker mostly played the 3.

Hayes can't play anyway. He should be benched.

Hayes should never play again. Please.

Maybe Gary can unveil his new offense; the five-guard offense. I am a big GW fan... he came to Maryland when it was down so far that no one else wanted the job. He did a heck of a job. He is a hall of fame coach who won the national championship. BUT, he has not been a hall of fame coach since that national championship. He has recruited mediocre ACC players and they have underachieved. They have been the poster-child for inconsistency and selfish play and last years team was the worst. How can you beat UNC at UNC and loose to Ohio and American at home. How many games were they up by double digits (can you say Clemson) and loose. Maybe it is time for a fresh start.

Don't forget Sean Mosley, unless you are figuring he's slated in to the 3 and isn't considered the backcourt.
