Is Williams to Blame?

So David Steele says that Gus Gilchrist's transfer is no fault of Gary Williams. Don't know that I buy that line of thinking. While I wouldn't blame Williams specifically for Gilchrist's departure, it cannot be argued that Williams oversees a program that seems to be in chaos. From Bobby Maze to Terrence Jennings to Tyree Evans to likelihood that Sean Mosley will not qualify, a master plan seems to be lacking.

Is it Gary's fault, or can blame be put at Yow as well?

Someone needs to take accountability in lean times; however, long live Garyland! How soon we forget how good our boys are when we don't have a McDonald's All-American. Gary, Adams and Driesell are going to get the troops ready. Keep the scholarships open for boys who want to put on the gold, black, red and white. Desire and hard work is what we need in CP, not quitters. Fear the Turtle. Go Terps!

Last I checked, Debbie doesn't recruit players or set the University admission policies.

Yeah she just undercuts Gary and Fridge anytime they need support. She needs to go before they decide to walk. Mens and womens hoops and football are all as well coached as they've ever been at Maryland and she can safely retire at this time. Make Gary the incoming athletic director.

It looks like Maryland has granted Sean Mosley a special academic exemption without the necessary SAT, three cheers Mosley is in. Maryland BBall nation can all let out a sigh of relief
