Lemming Says Paterno's Status Hurting Recruiting

While Penn State is crushing the competition in recruiting the Washington area and the Philly Inquirer recently reported that Coach Joe Paterno's tenuous job situation isn't hindering recruiting, this story and analyst Tom Lemming say say otherwise.

However, I'm not sure I buy the rationale that it is Paterno's age/job security that are affecting things as much as the Nittany Lions' fall from college football royalty and the success of other programs.
