Linebacker Talks About Picking Terps

Caught up with C.H. Flowers linebacker Lorne Goree over the weekend to talk about his decision to commit to Maryland. He said he also took a visit to West Virginia but that choosing the Terrapins was quite easy.

"There's a lot of love at Maryland," said Goree, wo played two seasons at DuVal before transferring to Flowers prior to last school year. "Every time I go up there I feel at home. I wanted to stay local. They're going up."

Goree said he made the decision now because he didn't want to have to spend any more time on the recruiting process.

"I just wanted to get it out of the way so I could think of my senior season," he said. "I was thinking about Illinois, too, but I axed them out. West Virginia, I didn't feel as home as I did at Maryland."
