"Zook Loophole" to Close?
Last month I wrote about Ron Zook getting around the NCAA's new so-called Saban Rule by olding coaching clinics at various high schools during the spring evaluation period when head coaches are not permitted to make recruiting visits to those schools. Well, now it seems SEC coaches want to close that loophole and ban head coaches from high school campuses for any reason. Here's the problem with such a proposal? Will it prohibit coaches from picking their kids up at school or watching them play sports?
