Pittsburgh Gets Huge Commitment
Big one here. National Christian forward Dante Taylor, a second-team All-Met has committed to play for Pittsburgh.
"They recruited him for over a year now," National Christian Coach Trevor Brown said. "He likes their style of play. They get a lot of New York kids. The academic support they get their players, their players are always eligible to play. He wants to play in the Big East and not far from home. Pittsburgh, I believe, has had the last two Big East Freshman of the Year - that was appealing to him also."
Brown said Taylor opted to make his choice now because he had tired of the recruiting process/
"He had tired of talking to all the coaches, tired of coaches calling his mom, tired of new schools trying to get in," Brown said. "Just the madness that goes along with a kid being recruited that high. He always knew he wanted to go to Pitt. He's been saying for a year he wanted to go to Pitt. I wanted to make sure he explored all his options."
