Back to Business; Linebacker Picks Maryland
Sorry folks, had a password issue the past few days. Been meaning to post many things. Let's start with Maryland landing Eleanor Roosevelt linebacker Isaiah Ross earlier this week.
"For him, defensively, in the position he plays, with [assistant coach Al] Seamonson and those guys, they've done a great job in P.G. County," Roosevelt Coach Tom Green said. "Shawne Merriman, Trey Covington - the hybrid backers. Adrian Moten. A lot of local kids had a lot of success there. Being close to home I don't think will affect him like it might other kids."
Ross is the third Roosevelt player to accept a college football scholarship. Previously, defensive backs Derrick Thomas and Stephon Morris committed to Penn State. However, Green said, Thomas still could take an official visit to Maryland this fall.
Also, Green said, defensive tackle Quincy McCauley has a scholarship offer from Buffalo and offensive tackle Danzel Manley holds offers from Old Dominion and Delaware State.

I was happy to see that Maryland withdrew their offer to Tavon Austin - he would be better off going to Penn State or West Virginia.
