Local Player Is A-10 Bound
Potomac School center Brian Freeman has committed to play for Fordham. He also had scholarship offers from Delaware and Northeastern and was getting plenty of other interest.
Fordham assistant "Travis Lyons from DeMatha [a 1994 All-Met] had been involved all along," Potomac School Coach Sean Whalen said. "I think it's a great situation for him."
Freeman averaged nearly a double-double last season and is quite talented around the basket. He's also an excellent defender, averaging nearly four blocks.
Whalen said that guard P.J. Miller has an offer from Robert Morris and also is seriously interested in Boston University, with many other schools also in the mix.
