Star Lineman Down to Five, Including Terps
St. John's second-team All-Met lineman Pete White has narrowed his college choices to Maryland, Tennessee, Florida, Miami and, interestingly, Oregon.
How did the Ducks get in the mix?
"I really like their offensive line coach," White said between practices one day last week. "I like their offense."
Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood has some familiarity with the Washington area; he spent the 1997 as an assistant at Maryland.
White said he plans to take some official visits during the season but hopes to reach a decision before the end of the season.

I disagree. Maryland has had success placing some O-lineman in the NFL in recent years. Stephon Heyer started multiple games games last season for Washington and is a top backup and possible future starter. Jared Gaither got PT last season in baltmore. Edwin Williams, a senior, is pre-season all conference. Maryland has done s respectable job of developing O-lineman.

Mike, you're an ass. If the only post you are going to make about any player Maryland is in the mix for is "I hope he chooses so and so and doesn't go to Maryland" then find some junior high school blog to post on and go away.

Seriously. Mike, you sound like a complete idiot. One of the downfalls of the internet is it gives morons like you a voice.

I hope that White chooses Tennessee, Florida or Miami --- he would be much better off, not going to Maryland
