Woody and USF: A Match Made in the Employment Line?
Meant to post this one sooner. Can't wait to see the reaction.
Former Maryland/Virginia Tech recruit Gus Gilchrist is at South Florida and could it be because the Bulls are about to hire his personal trainer?
At a time when the school is slashing jobs in academia and elsewhere, Terrelle Woody is among the candidates for a newly-created unposted/undetermined position in the USF athletic department.
Sure doesn't sound too good on the ethics side, even though Sonny Vaccaro notes that hiring Woody would be within NCAA rules.
Even more interesting would be finding out how much USF paid Woody to work basketball camps this summer and if his (off-campus?) lodging was picked up. USF wouldn't release those details.

Maryland will finish with a 4-8 record – good for last place in the ACC (even behind Duke).
I was extremely happy to hear that, Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.
