A Closer Look at Maryland's Recruiting Coordinator

Maryland recruiting coordinator Dave Sollazzo is known as a straight shooter, according to the mother of one Maryland player. In a sport where Clemson Coach Tommy Bowden pledges the first carry of a season as an incentive to top recruits, this story says "those who have witnessed Sollazzo's recruiting describe him as persistent and straightforward, and not prone to making fanciful promises that some recruits might want to hear."

Maybe he should start making fanciful promises since we seem to be losing all of the good Maryland talent to schools in other states.

I am sorry I have been saying those negative things about Maryland football. I finally see how my bitterness about not getting into Maryland is affecting my personal life too. I want to apologize to all the people that I have annoyed with my repetitive, ignorant postings. I actually wish that Tavon Austin, Jelani Jenkins, and Travis Hawkins would go play for Maryland because Ralph is the best coach in college football. Thank you Washington Post for putting up with my crap

Maryland's defensive line is a complete joke.

I have seen a better pass rush by Pop Warner and CYO teams.

Prediction for Maryland's upcoming game --

Califonia - 48
Maryland - 13

Maryland will finish with a 3-9 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke)

I am glad that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.

Jelani Jenkins and Travis Hawkins will be signing with the University of Florida.

Not sure when you applied to get into Maryland Gary but you must have been one stupid S.O.B. And while I am here.....nice prediction on the California game.
