QO Standout Hawkins in the Spotlight

Quince Orchard standout Travis Hawkins has plenty of scholarship offers, partly because he has the attitude that "hitting someone is something I love to do." As the Cougars prepared for the upcoming season, Hawkins recently told Coach Dave Mencarini not to take him off the field on defense, that if he needs a rest, find the time to take it on offense.

Question for BJ Koubaroulis or...whoever it is who does the actual...editing and...assembly of these...pieces.

Was Penn State the only school he specifically mentioned, or was that just how the video was put together, with the Bani Gbadyu reference to complete the Quince Orchard Circle so to speak? He has publicly mentioned four or five finalists and there was the incorrect rumor of his committment w/ Caleb Porzel to Maryland a month or two ago.

Final Score this coming Saturday:

Middle Tennessee State -- 37
Maryland -- 17

Maryland will finish the season with a 4-8 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke)

I am glad that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin

Jelani Jenkins and Travis Hawkins will not be attending Maryland - they will sign with the University of Florida.

Maryland's defensive line is a complete joke.

I have seen a better pass rush by Pop Warner and CYO teams.

Prediction for Maryland's upcoming game --

Califonia - 48
Maryland - 13

Maryland will finish with a 3-9 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke)

I am glad that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.

Jelani Jenkins and Travis Hawkins will be signing with the University of Florida.
