Will Struggles Impact Recruiting?
So let's say you're Dave Sollazzo, Ralph Friedgen or James Franklin. Or maybe you're Al Groh. Or even Frank Beamer.
Can you really positively spin the mess that is this current season to prospective recruits?
On one hand, it's been ugly for the I-A locals. On the other, does this mean you can promise the possibility of early playing time to recruits?
And which one means more? Sure, kids like the opportunity to play. But they also like to play for winners. And, especially in College Park, there is not a track record of playing newcomers, though maybe that is changing this fall.
Either way, it's a tough sell.

Maryland's defensive line is a complete joke.
I have seen a better pass rush by Pop Warner and CYO teams.
Prediction for Maryland's upcoming game --
Califonia - 48
Maryland - 13
Maryland will finish with a 3-9 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke)
I am glad that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.
Jelani Jenkins and Travis Hawkins will be signing with the University of Florida.
