Maryland About to Add a Top Defensive Back?
Quince Orchard standout Travis Hawkins will announce his college decision on Thursday, according to Cougars Coach Dave Mencarini, and I wouldn't be surprised if Maryland makes a nice addition to its recruiting class.
Among the other schools Hawkins is considering are Michigan, Oregon and Penn State. He was scheduled to visit Penn State two weekends ago but had to postpone the trip after the Cougars' game was rained out from Friday to Saturday night.
Hawkins currently is sidelined by a sprained ankle, but Mencarini has said Hawkins could return to action in the playoffs.

Hey Josh, how about you not be a prick and let these kids make their 'surprise' announcements on their own without blowing their spots. Seriously, is it that important you put out the news the day before everyone else? You did this for Kenny Tate and Deonte Arnett. Coach's tell you these things in confidence assuming you wont post them. We know you dont make 'predictions'. This is coming from a Terp fan. Let these kids have their day.
