Chroniger Looking ACC/Big East

Caught up with DeMatha Coach Bill McGregor earlier this week and while he is focused on tomorrow night's WCAC title game against Good Counsel, I managed to slip in a recruiting question or two.

McGregor said that quarterback Tom Chroniger, who once committed to Eastern Michigan then decided to look around, is "trying for an ACC or Big East" scholarship offer, but that one has yet to come. "I haven't really pushed it," McGregor said. "We haven't done anything at all, college-wise. Everything basically has been quiet."

McGregor said he also got a call from Syracuse assistant Chris White in the wake of Orange Coach Greg Robinson getting fired last weekend. White said that a scholarship offer to linebacker Raheem Cardwell remains intact, regardless of who Syracuse eventually hires.

"I don't know if he is going to recommit or not," McGregor said. "I'll start all that Monday."

I am happy that Chroninger is not considering Maryland

I loved this result:

Florida State -- 37
Maryland -- 3

Another stellar performance on National TV - recruiting will be a joke again for the Twerps.

Boston College --- 37
Maryland --- 13

Say hello to Boise, Idaho - Terps

I am extremely happy that Maryland stopped recruiting Tavon Austin

Caleb Porzel should sign with Penn State

Jeleani Jenkins will be signing with Florida or Penn State -- Thank God
