Linganore Juniors Getting Plenty of Attention

Linganore Coach Rick Conner has the letters proudly stapled to a bulletin board above his desk, written scholarship offers to junior offensive lineman Rob Havenstein and junior running back Zach Zwinak. And he's sure that more are soon to come -- for those two and others in the Lancers' talented junior class.

Havenstein, at 6-7 and 335 pounds, is a mammoth blocker. Zwinak, at 6-2 and 240 pounds, has rushed for 1,270 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, averaging 11.1 yards per carry entering Friday's Maryland 4A semifinal against Arundel.

"Notre Dame has been in, Miami, Penn State, Connecticut, who else?" Conner said. "Virginia, Duke. They're all stopping by and doing the rounds, nothing special."

Pat Balderson, the Lancers' speedy senior running back, is being recruited by William & Mary, Conner said.

I am extremely happy - that neither player is considering Maryland

I loved this result:

Florida State -- 37
Maryland -- 3

Another stellar performance on National TV - recruiting will be a joke again for the Twerps.

Boston College --- 37
Maryland --- 13

Say hello to Boise, Idaho - Terps

I am extremely happy that Maryland stopped recruiting Tavon Austin

Jeleani Jenkins will be signing with Florida or Penn State -- Thank God !
