DeMatha Juniors in No Rush
While classmate Josh Selby already has committed to play for Tennessee, DeMatha junior forwards Victor Oladipo and Jerian Grant are in no hurry to make their college choice and likely will wait until next year to reach a decision, Stags Coach Mike Jones said.
Both players have many scholarship offers. Grant, whose older brother, Jerai, is a sophomore at Clemson, is more of an inside player, while Oladipo has worked hard to improve his outside shot. His list includes Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Clemson, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Providence and Auburn, among others.
Oladipo "is doing it the way I think a lot of us think it should be done, not making a commitment before he plays a game his junior year," Jones said.
Grant "is like Olapdio, he's taking his time and not rushing."
