Montrose Falls in 2 OTs in Hawaii

Gotta scroll down to read about it, but top-ranked Montrose Christian lost to Oak Hill, 74-62 in double overtime in the championship game of the Iolani Classic late last night/early this morning.

Villanova recruit Mouphtaou Yarou led Montrose with 23 points, but the Momo Jones hit a long three-pointer to force the second overtime and the Mustangs were unable to prevail. Jones finished with 40 points and was the tournament MVP. Second-ranked DeMatha finished fifth by beating Whitney Young of Chicago, 73-66, as Josy Selby scored 24 points. All in all, a pretty good showing for the locals.
