Colleague Alan Goldenbach passes this one along:

Gaithersburg Coach Kreg Kephart reports that senior linebacker Serge Kona has signed with Duquesne. Kona, a 5-11, 215-pounder, was a three-year varsity player for the Trojans, and an all-county kick returner last season. Kona is the 53rd player to sign a football scholarship in Kephart's nine years leading the program..

Duquesne is an interesting story itself, having joined the Northeast Conference, a division I-AA league, prior to the 2008 season, after spending the previous 14 years as a non-scholarship I-AA program. The Dukes went 3-7 last year.
