Kromah Talks About Choosing GW

Sometimes it pays just to keep after a player. That's why Eleanor Roosevelt junior guard Lasan Kromah committed to George Washington.

"Other schools were recruiting me and calling sometimes, but George Washington was the most consistent, staying in contact and showing a lot of interest," Kromah said. "There's a bond there that I feel comfortable with."

Kromah, who is 6-5, averaged 20.3 points this past season, helping the Raiders reach the Maryland 4A South Region final. He said that Virginia Commonwealth, UNC-Wilmington and Jacksonville were the other schools showing the most interest in him.

"I felt comfortable with [George Washington's] coaching staff, their style of up-and-down, fast-break play," Kromah said.
