Montrose-Oak Hill Is Quite an Event
A rare Friday night post, but, hey, it's a rare game. The stands are packed at Georgetown Prep for Montrose Christian-Oak Hill, with Maryland assistant Chuck Driesell and Villanova assistants Doug West and Pat Chambers in attendance, along with several players from other local high schools, including Gonzaga's Tyler Thornton and a handful of DeMatha players. Seats for Virginia Tech's Seth Greenberg and Georgetown University are still empty. Plenty of talent on the floor, too, including Montrose Christian junior guard Terrence Ross.
Game organizer Rashid Ghazi said tickets were sold out by last night, prompting the sale of a few hundred standing-room-only tickets today.
